Vincent Calenzo was born on August 9, 1967 in Elmont, NY.  He grew up on Long Island before moving to Massachusetts to attend the Swain School of Design where he studied under David Loeffler Smith. He received the Ellen Battel fellowship grant to the Yale Summer School of Art and Music in 1988. Vincent lived in Boston for two years working in his Brighton Studio and also at the Museum of Fine Arts before attending the graduate program at Cornell University. In 1993, after receiving his Masters in Painting, he moved to the West Coast to established his art career. For the next 17 years, Vincent lived and worked in Los Angeles, at the Santa Fe Art Colony. He exhibited throughout Southern California, and his paintings can be found in collections across the U.S. In 2010 Vincent and his family moved to Connecticut where he continues to paint and show his work.
